These roles are currently subject to formal evaluation via the BCC equal pay progression job evaluation process

Grade A: £24,796 - £26,824 pro rata

(£6,164 actual starting salary)

2 hours a day (between the hours of 11am and 1.30pm, depending on post)

Monday to Friday, term time only

Start Date: 1^st September 2026

Osborne Nursery School and Featherstone Nursery School are federated and although initially based at Featherstone Nursery School, these posts will require a willingness to work at either school if the need arises.

We are looking to recruit Lunchtime Supervisors to join our team. 

You will be responsible for supervising children as they eat their lunch in the dining area and also outside in the garden, serving food, setting up and cleaning the lunchroom and equipment, helping children with their personal hygiene needs and with eating their dinner.

You will need to enjoy working with young children and be able to communicate positively and effectively with them, be able to follow instructions, work in a team, be reliable and patient.

Previous experience of working with children is desirable but not essential as full in-house training will be given.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
